Hello,
My site is showing an administator warning saying:
XStore Core plugin requires the following theme: XStore v.9.1.8. Video tutorial. This warning is visible for administrator only.
My Core is Version 5.1.9 and Theme is showing verison of 9.1.9, Child Theme is 1.0 (Active). What should I do?
Hello, @Mehmet,
Thank you for using our theme and for contacting us.
We recommend that you first contact your service provider to restore the backup on your site. After that, please update the theme and then update the theme’s required/recommended plugins. We hope that you will not experience any issues.
Please read and follow the documentation for a better understanding: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update.
Note that you should not update the Core plugin before the theme update in the future.
We wish you the best of luck.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
No luck for the roll-back. What else options do I have when both of the theme and plugin are all up to date and the latest plugin requires older version of the theme?
Hello, @Mehmet,
In order to assist you with your inquiry, we request that you provide us with URL and temporary access to the wp-admin of your website. This will enable us to take a closer look at your settings and provide you with a more accurate and specific solution.
To do this, please follow these steps:
– Create an account via Dashboard (Users > Add new) with administrator role. Refer to the following image for guidance: http://prntscr.com/s3rc9m
– Provide us with the username and password for the newly created account via the Private Content area. Refer to the following image for guidance: http://prntscr.com/s5mao7
– Any email address can be used for the new account, it does not have to be your personal email.
Please let us know once you have completed these steps, and we will promptly review your account information and provide assistance as soon as possible.
Additionally, please provide us with FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption). To create FTP access, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.
We also recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
Kind Regards,
8theme team.
Sure here they are
Hello, @Mehmet,
At present, we do not see any issues, however, this situation may arise after an update if you are using a caching plugin for database caching, or in some cases, it may be caused by server caching or a change in server time.
In most cases, it is enough to wait up to 24 hours for the cache to clear.
You can also clear the cache manually by going to Dashboard -> Updates and pressing the “Check again” button. In this tab, you can also see when the cache was last cleared.
Kind Regards,
8theme team.
Hello Rose,
I waited more than 24 hours as I have no caching plugin active, but there is no change in the administrative notice on top.
Please advice.
Regards,
Mehmet
